How to put perfume correctly

There are those who put on perfume after a shower or a bath, to conclude the ritual begun with detergents: an excellent choice, considering that an amplified result is obtained with moist skin. There hydrated skinin fact, it allows you to retain the persistence of the fragrance for longer (this also applies after using moisturizing creams and lotions). On fabrics, the perfume remains longer, so it is necessary to evaluate in advance whether it will be suitable for all the circumstances in which you will find yourself with that type of clothing.

Where the blood flows the skin is more warm and, identifying the superficial veins, the perfumed notes are highlighted. In addition to those of the neck, those of the legs and arms are also valid: in summer, when they are not covered, they are excellent points on which to vaporize. It should be remembered not to rub the freshly perfumed areas (no, not even to speed up the evaporation of the alcoholic part!), since the various perfume molecules break down and mix, often with unpleasant results. Better to be patient for a few seconds and let the perfume do the work directly!

The ideal distance to nebulize a fragrance is about 15-20 centimeters from the "target". Too close it will concentrate in an excessively small point, while exaggerating with the distance the fragrance will change during its air journey and, most likely, it will not even arrive at its destination.

Many perfumes contain colored (harmless) chemicals, but if we decide to spray them on a white shirt, we will almost certainly give life to halos more or less showy, moreover complicated to remove even in the washing phase. This is because, as on our skin, the alcohol which is used to keep the perfume liquid evaporates and the rest "clings" to the surfaces. The speech obviously applies to any color of the fabrics and also to almost all materials, such as metals or leathers. Anyone wishing to perfume their watch (or leather bracelet) should know that they run the risk of leaving visible halos even there.

A separate mention la merita the layering (the layering of different scents). If we want to try our hand at this increasingly widespread practice, let's just keep in mind that if we are used to spraying two, five or fifty times for a single perfume, with the second one we will be forced to double the dose (otherwise the latter will be non-existent). It will therefore be better to think carefully before spraying the initial fragrance, in order not to overdo it with the concentration of the perfumes.
