SHIPPING METHODS AND COSTS


Standard tracked shipping

Orders for which the standard tracked shipping method has been chosen are shipped via courier within 1-2 business days of receipt. Orders containing more than one product may be delayed if the products are located in multiple warehouses.

Shipping costs in Italy:

• €6 for orders equal to or less than €48
Free for orders over € 48

International shipping costs are based on the following shipping zones:

Group 1 (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Hungary)

• €6 for orders equal to or less than €150
Free for orders over € 150

Group 2 (Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia)

• €14 for orders equal to or less than €200
Free for orders over € 200

Group 3 (Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Romania, Sweden, Balearic Islands)

• €18 for orders equal to or less than €200
Free for orders over € 200

Express tracked shipping (only available in Italy)

Orders for which the express traceable shipping method has been chosen are shipped via courier same working day if received before 12, otherwise despatched next working day. The advantage of this type of shipment is the priority preparation of the package by the staff of Ottaviano Parfums et Beauté and, consequently, the taking charge of the same by the courier in the shortest possible time. Delivery times depend exclusively on the courier and are identical to those of standard shipments. Express shipping costs 7 euros for all orders, including those with a value over 48 euros. To avoid delays, express shipping is only available for orders shipped to Italy and containing a single product.


Possible delays

Due to the need for manual preparation of many of the perfume samples in our catalogue, processing an order with free samples chosen by the customer may require additional time. The products available on the site of Ottaviano Parfums et Beauté are located in multiple warehouses and, for this reason, it is possible that the processing of a single order containing different products is delayed or that the products are shipped separately within multiple packages (at no additional cost to the customer ). Regardless of the shipping method chosen, orders with missing data (e.g. house number), incorrect or with cash on delivery are shipped only after confirmation by telephone, WhatsApp or email. Ottaviano Parfums et Beauté reserves the right to cancel these orders if the customer is untraceable. 


Shipment tracking

Once shipped, the customer will receive a confirmation email from Ottaviano Parfums et Beauté. Once this email has been received, it will no longer be possible to change the order. After a few hours (in the evening or the following morning) the customer will receive another email and/or SMS directly from the courier containing the tracking code to follow the shipment. It is not possible to receive the tracking code before the courier has sent the message.


Preparation times and delivery methods

Orders are normally processed, prepared and dispatched the same day if received before 12pm or by the next working day if not. Ottaviano Parfums et Beauté entrusts most of the shipments to GLS, TNT and BRT couriers. Exceptionally, he could entrust some shipments to the SDA courier, based on the destination location. The delivery time for shipments to Italy is 1-2 working days from the day of shipment, barring delays due to the courier or remote locations (islands) or disadvantaged. The timing for shipments abroad may vary according to the country of destination. The courier does not deliver by appointment and does not guarantee delivery at particular times or telephone contact before delivery. In the absence of the recipient at the delivery address, the courier will make a second delivery attempt one working day later. If the recipient is also absent during the second passage, the package will be stored at the courier's office closest to the municipality of destination. In this case, the shipment will remain blocked until ordered by the customer, who may request a third and final delivery attempt, or collection from the courier's headquarters. In the event of missing provisions, the package will return to the sender and can be sent back to the recipient only upon advance payment of the storage costs. If the shipment returned to the sender provided for cash on delivery, any redelivery can only take place upon advance payment of the entire amount of the order.


Additional costs

Cash on delivery shipments, available only in Italy, require a supplement of 3 euros. Regardless of the payment method chosen, an additional cost may be expected for orders containing particularly bulky products (e.g. room perfumers of 1.000 ml or more), calculated on a case-by-case basis.
