SHIPPING COSTS AND METHODS
Standard shipping for Italy will be shipped within 1-2 business days from the receipt of the order. Orders containing more than one product may be delayed if the products are located in multiple warehouses.
Standard shipping for Italy costs 6€ for orders equal to or less than 48€ and is free for orders above 48€ .
International shipping costs depend on the Zone of shipping:
For Zone A (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain) costs 6€ for orders above 50€ and is free for orders above 300€. Instead for orders under 50€ the cost rises to 15€.
For Zone B (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden) shipping costs are 10€ for orders above 50€, 5€ for orders above 300€ and 23€ for orders under 50€.
Express shipping has a cost of 9 euros for all orders. To avoid delays, express shipping is only available for orders containing a single product. If the order was sent before 1 PM will be shipped on the same working day, otherwise it will be shipped on the next working day.
Regardless of the shipping method chosen, orders with missing data (e.g. house number), incorrect or with cash on delivery payment will be shipped only after confirmation by phone, WhatsApp or email. Ottaviano reserves the right to cancel such orders if the customer is not reachable.
Upon successful shipment, the customer will receive a confirmation email from Ottaviano. Once received this email it will no longer be possible to modify the order. After a few hours (in the evening or the following morning) the customer will receive another email and/or an SMS directly from the courier containing the tracking to follow the shipment. It is not possible to receive the tracking before the courier sends the email.
Ottaviano entrusts most of its shipments to the couriers BRT and GLS. Exceptionally, we may entrust some shipments to the courier SDA, depending on the location of destination. The delivery time for shipments in Italy is 1-3 working days from the day of shipment, unless delays due to the courier. The timing for shipments abroad may vary depending on the country of destination. The courier does not deliver by appointment and does not guarantee delivery at particular times or telephone contact before delivery. In case of absence of the recipient at the delivery address, the courier will make a second delivery attempt after one working day. If the recipient is absent even at the second step, the package will be stored at the headquarters of the courier closer to the town of destination. In this case the shipment will remain blocked until the customer's instructions, which may require a third and final delivery attempt, or pick up at the headquarters of the courier. In case of lack of provisions, the package will return to the sender and can be sent back to the recipient only after advance payment of the costs of storage.
Cash on delivery shipments, avaible only in Italy, require an extra charge of 6 euros. Regardless of the method of payment chosen, there may be an additional cost for orders containing particularly bulky products (eg room scenting 1000 ml or more), calculated case by case.
Pick up in store
You can buy online and pick up the products in one of our stores, paying in advance online or directly in store. At the time of purchase select the store nearest to you, our staff will put the products on reserve and will contact you by phone, email or WhatsApp to inform you about the availability for collection. Please do not go to the store before receiving our confirmation as the products ordered may be in another store or have not yet been set aside. If the products are not picked up within 30 days, your order will be cancelled and the products will be put back on sale.
