Ingredients:
- Organic Camelina Oil: naturally rich in essential fatty acids, especially omega-3 and omega-6, it is recommended for taking care of sensitive skin. From organic cultivation, the camelina oil included in our healing toothpastes offers its soothing and protective properties to care for even the most sensitive gums.
- Organic Peppermint essential oil: rich in menthol, it plays an essential role in oral hygiene. It has intense refreshing properties and helps keep breath fresh. Known for its antibacterial properties, it also helps reduce the growth of bacteria responsible for dental plaque.
- Hydroxyapatite: a mineral species from the phosphate family responsible for our dentin and tooth enamel, offers a gentle and natural approach to improving the whiteness of teeth while strengthening the enamel. It can penetrate beneath the surface of tooth enamel providing replacement calcium and phosphate ions to areas where minerals have dissolved. This process remineralizes the enamel and restores its integrity and translucent appearance.
- Fluoride: naturally present in the body in the bones and teeth, it plays an essential role in preventing tooth decay by hardening the tooth enamel to make it more resistant to acid attacks from the bacteria that cause tooth decay. Using a fluoride toothpaste allows this element to reach the surface layer of the enamel and play its role as a protective shield. That's why the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends fluoride to reduce the risk of tooth decay and supports its use in toothpastes.
