Santa Maria Novella – Tuscan Tobacco
Eau de Cologne
Format: 100ml
“The Perfume-Pharmaceutical Workshop of Santa Maria Novella, in the 800th year of his birth, creates the Firenze 1221 edition. A tribute to celebrate an unrepeatable story, hand in glove with the city of its foundation.
The Tuscan Tobacco perfume from the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is inspired by Tuscan tobacco leaves. It is a bouquet of oriental woody notes, in which the floral top notes fade into the spicy heart in which Tuscan tobacco leaves predominate and blend well with the smoky vanilla base notes. Catherine de' Medici, already Queen of France, used tobacco as a remedy for migraine, so much so that this herb took the name of "Herba catharinaria".
A mysterious and velvety fragrance, which opens with notes of bergamot and blond tobacco leaves. In the heart, the dark notes of birch and leather are embraced by a warm amber note. On the bottom, precious woods are combined with the soft note of vanilla and musk.
