Oyedo-Diptyque
Eau de Toilette
Format: 100ml
Year: 2000
Nose: Yves Coueslant, Desmond Knoox Leet, Christiane Gautrot
Oyèdo is named in honor of Yedo (also known as Edo), the ancient name of the city of Tokyo which means port on the bay.
The Far East is the inspiration for this Eau de Toilette. In perfumery, citrus fruits are usually used to create fresh fragrances. Oyèdo emphasizes their fruity aspect which gives them both tenacity and personality.
At the beginning we find the lemon, pungent and nervous, then the mandarin, exquisite, fresh and slightly spicy.
Finally, Thyme makes everything rounder and more tenacious. This fragrance is undoubtedly reminiscent of Asia where the first citrus fruits come from.
Oyèdo is still one of the best-selling fragrances of Diptyque.
